Men's Classic fit 100% 8.5 oz Elastique (twill) Polyester-Moisture Control slacks with rubberized waist band to keep your shirt in. Classic traditional fit has a slimmer fit through the hips and thighs. Brookfield's slacks offer the most durable construction in the industry. Features include distinctive leg braid, double stitched seams, bar tacked belt loops, double lined pockets, and sur-lock zipper fly. It also features side hip patches for extra protection against wear while carrying the mail bag. Braid removed for MVS drivers for free.

When I started as a letter carrier, I bought other brands so I would get more clothes with my allotment (other brands are cheaper). Every year, I was desperately waiting for my allotment because I had worn out all my clothes. You get what you pay for. For the last 10 years, I haven't bought anything but Brookfield. I must admit...I really miss the old cotton blend pants.

Pants have the elastic band and the rubber in the elastic ends up drying out and shrinking after a couple of trips through the dryer and then the pants become too tight. i never had a problem with the old style with no elastic. Bring them back.
